In recent times truck drivers are increasing using Fields Hill to bypass the Marianhill toll plaza. Speeding at night and bypassing the compulsory stop is causing accidents and delays on the M13, which leads to massive deadlock in the Suburbs. Not to mention the loss of life that has occurred and the extensive damage to the road surface.
Fields Hill has served as the main route for all heavy vehicles in the past BUT time have changed there are more of Trucks, they are bigger and they are more reckless. Now is the time to BAN them!

Heavies should not be allowed off the main (tolled) routes. Mooi River has a similar problem.
